Month in Review – May

It’s been a big month in my personal life, and I hope the blog has kept up with your expectations. By the way, I’m now “Andrew Flusche, J.D.” 🙂

Traffic for May was right on target with April – about 8200 visits each month. I’m pretty darn happy with that, but I hope to see more growth in June. Too bad I have to study for the bar exam!

The 10k/month hump took me a while to get over on my personal blog, back around 2001. Ditto for two of my other blogs, back in 2003. When I finally did, though, visitors climbed at a pretty remarkable clip. I’ve never talked to others about this, but I’ve hypothesized that there’s a ceiling that you’ve got to break through to climb up.

    Hi Waldo,

Thanks for your thoughts on traffic growth. It’s great that your blogs are doing so well.

I think the concept of ceilings is pretty accurate. Hopefully I can break this one soon!

    Thanks for commenting,
    Andrew

Congratulations on your J.D. Andrew!! Did the three years go by quickly? Having only finished my first year, I’d love to hear that the next two fly by!

    Blaine,

Thank you very much. Congrats on finishing your first year. That is definitely a noble accomplishment.

I don’t know if I’d say that years 2 and 3 flew by. But they definitely are more relaxed, in terms of classes & grades (especially third year!). With that said, you get more things to worry about, like permanent jobs, extra-curriculars, etc.

Overall, I’d say you’re definitely on the downhill stretch!

Congrats again on graduation. The traffic numbers are impressive. I wonder how much traffic my friend Ernie gets at http://www.ernietheattorney.net He is currently regarded as the no.1 legal blogger. I think he may have to watch out for Legal Andrew.

    Brett,

Thanks for the kind words. It feels great to be done with school and only a quarter of a century old. 🙂

    Hey Chris,

I’m not sure I’ll catch up with Ernie. He’s definitely a popular legal blogger, and rightfully so. He writes great stuff!

    Thanks for your comment,
    Andrew
