Drug and alcohol addictions are serious. If you have a loved one who is suffering from some type of addiction like this, you might consider alcohol rehabilitation or drug rehabilitation at Cliffside Malibu.

Cliffside Malibu is an interesting program that seems to provide a comprehensive, holistic treatment for serious addictions. They have a wide array of staff that includes doctors, psychologists, therapists, resident advisors, and even an equine therapist. It definitely looks like an impressive lineup of professionals to help with the rehab process.

Just based on the website, this treatment center looks very exclusive and quite posh. The top image in this post is actually one of the residences at Cliffside Malibu. Although I do wonder if all of the facilities look as nice as the ones displayed online.

In my opinion, one key to choosing an addiction treatment program is the opinion of other professionals that you know. I don’t think I would trust a loved one’s care to a place that wasn’t recommended by a family doctor or therapist. At the very least, you should check with the applicable state health and medical departments, to look for any complaints regarding the treatment center.

I’m going to give it to you as a person who has been there — private drug rehab is a huge plus when it comes to treatment. You need to shop around and find the program that is right for you, but once you do you get treated to a much higher level of service. There’s more personal attention which means that the clinical staff gets to know your case and help treat you more effectively. Just make sure you don’t pick the first drug rehab program you see!
