Design Your Own Visa Buxx Card

I’m not a huge fan of credit cards, due to their ease of abuse. But I do like the concept behind the Visa Buxx card.

In short, the Visa Buxx card is a prepaid card that the recipient can use anywhere that accepts Visa. It looks and works like a credit card, but money is put in the account in advance. There’s no potential for abuse!

To make things a bit cooler, Visa is having a Teen Credit Card design competition. You can create your own design the for PAYjr Visa Buxx card. The winning design will get an Apple laptop. Cool, right?

Enter the contest by submitting your card design at the contest’s website. Then you can promote your design from your blog or website. It’s that simple. Besides, what do you have to lose?
