New Online Backup Solution – IDrive-E

I’ve written before about backing up your files. Backing up is crucial, unless you want to lose all your hard work.

A fairly new backup service has entered the market: IDrive-E. This company touts itself as the perfect Online Backup solution. From what I’ve read, it seems to be a solid backup option.

The free version of IDrive-E provides 2 GB of data storage. If you need more space, you can pay $4.95/month and get unlimited storage space. That’s not a bad deal at all.

The program itself performs automated backups of your files, while your computer is idle. Thus, you should always have a backup copy of your data, no matter what happens. Also, the system keeps 30 versions of your files, so you can restore a corrupted or goofed up file.

I haven’t personally used IDrive-E. But if you’re in need of a backup solution, you might give it a try.
