LoudLaunch Launches, but is it Loud?

With all of the “scandal” these days about paid post services, I honestly thought twice about writing this post. But I like LoudLaunch.

Yep, it’s finally official. LoudLaunch is finally off the ground. It seems that they have a good number of bloggers ready to write for them and a fair number of ad campaigns firing away.

But what is it? In a nutshell, advertisers sign up to have their press releases or news spread around the internet. Registered bloggers select a post they want to write about, and they get compensated for spreading the word.

Interestingly, the minimum ad campaign funding is only $50. That is a very low cost of entry into this type of advertising. Heck, that is so low that almost anyone can afford to create a small campaign and spread their news.

We’ll have to watch LoudLaunch and see what happens in the near future. Hopefully it will earn a favorable reputation and enrich the blogosphere. Who knows?
