Software to Manage Meeting Rooms and Assets

Sponsored Post

Does your firm have difficulties managing access to meeting rooms? Have you ever lost track of a company laptop? What about that new projector you need for the client presentation in an hour? You might need netsimplicity.

Netsimplicity offers two different types of Scheduling Software. First, Meeting Room Manager handles all of the details regarding room reservations and arrangements. Second, Virtual Asset Manager can tell you the location of every piece of equipment your firm owns, with the click of a button.

I haven’t used either of these programs, but they both seem promising. Meeting Room Manager integrates with Outlook, so you can organize things right from your calendar. Virtual Asset Manager even lets you map your office and display assets on the map.

If you’re in the market for this type of software, you might check these out. Importantly, netsimplicity offers free trials for both programs. What do you have to lose?

IMHO, Microsoft Outlook paired with a Microsoft Exchange server can also be used to manage meeting room schedules. It works very well actually. This method is used by EDS, Bank of America, and CitiGroup to name a few. It wouldn’t be very cost effective for a terribly small operation, but any law office with more than 2 attorneys seriously needs an Exchange server anyway. YMMV.

Wait just a minute? Microsoft?! What about open source? OK, just kidding there. Partly.

Thanks for commenting, though. BTW, commenting on blogs is a great way to get links registered in search engines, thus increasing your page rank.
