Create Your Own Audio Resume

I’ll bet you have a paper resume, but do you have one on audio? That’s the market Audio Resume is seeking to fill. Learn More About Audio Resume![]()
The procedure is simple: call an 800 number, answer five general interview questions, then give out the URL to your audio resume. You can even use the badge, pictured above, to link to your audio resume from job site profiles or your blog. Of course, you have to pay $9.95 to keep the company running.
Personally, I question the actual effectiveness of this strategy. How useful can these audio answers be for employers? Sure, they provide a deeper glimpse into you than just a piece of paper. But wouldn’t a blog or personal branding website be even better?
In the end, I imagine it comes down to the effort and time you want to spend on your job search image. Audio Resume seems to provide a quick and easy way to add some life to your profile. For under $10, it might be worth it, especially if it helps snag the job of your dreams. But if you really want to go all out, grab your own domain name and brand yourself. You could upload audio, video, pictures, essays, whatever.

Hi Mark,
Yes, Audio Resume paid for this post. I always put “Sponsored Post” at the top of a post that I was paid to write.
However, nobody specified exactly what I wrote. They do not even govern the overall tone of my writing. I just wrote about their product and provided a link to it.
Thanks for commenting,
Andrew

Andrew, They, audioresume, should pay you handsomely for that post, you gave them a good review, but you were objective, you didn’t simply fawn all over them, you showed how they fit in context.
And thanks for likin’ what I said abut digg, if you noticed, that post was dugg about 7 times!

Thank you for your flattering comment here. I really appreciate the compliment.
I did really like your post about Digg. You’ve got some great ideas there.
